Writing in the Digital Domain - FWG June 2026 Meeting

Writing in the Digital Domain - FWG June 2026 Meeting

Whether it's blogging, cultivating a social media presence, or creating self-promotional content, writing for the digital domain is a distinctly different experience than writing a novel, poetry, short stories, or just writing for yourself.

Regardless of your age, experience, or technological literacy, the internet is here to stay. Social media, online distribution, and audio-visual content platforms are unavoidable for authors wanting to reach a wider audience in the modern age. Just because we aren't familiar nor comfortable with how to use the tools the internet provides us doesn't mean we should shy away from them.

The ability to write for the online domain is essential both for building an audience for your stories AND for cultivating yourself as a professional, a brand, and a public figure; All of which are vital if you want to write professionally.

But knowing how to write for the online domain is really hard, especially if you didn't grow up with the internet.

Lucky for you, the Foothills Writer's Group is here to help!
